Fornication is a highly portable two-headed orchestra – residing in the folk and americana border region, close to the outskirts of blues, overlooking the wastelands of traditional music and jazz.
Rebecka Hjukström
Rebecka is the singer, guitarist and banjo player of Fornication. Her musical roots are sprung from the fertile soil of bluegrass, but she is capable of domesticating just about any genre. Besides Fornication, she also performs with Abalone Dots, Hillfillies and as a solo artist.
Daniel Åhlman
Daniel plays percussion, mainly tamburello and frame drums, in Fornication. He started out as a rock drummer, but nowadays, he's a dedicated traditional and historical percussion player who performs and records with a number of folk and early music projects.
Random geniuses
Whenever possible, Fornication likes to bring friends along to the stage. For example, Jonas Bleckman (Ale Möller and more), Sophia Hogman-Myrbacka (Abalone Dots) and the beloved Mr Radel (digital tambura) have joined Fornication in the past.
